Some Things Are Best Kept Close

Like sisters.  They're the best.

These babies were given the surname Singer for a reason.  Cute little Lolly Pop was quite the vocalist for a while.  Lordy, could she sing.

Now it seems she's found another calling and her brother has taken it up instead.  Carl, oh Carl.  What a set of pipes on that boy.  No particular reason.  Just talkin' to ya.  Maybe you'd like to pay attention to him?  That might help.

All four Singers are scheduled for surgery this week.  Lolly may not quite make weight, so we'll wait until Friday for her.  The potential families are starting to line up, so I expect they'll be moving on before long. 

Didn't they just get here??

A Big Day for Little Jax

You've known him as Trevor, he shall henceforth be known as Jax.  His people gave him that cute name way back when they decided to adopt.  He was just a weensie and they've been waiting so patiently for their boy.

New mom and dad are long time friends of my sister Jean.  They recently suffered the unexpected loss of their beloved Frannie kitty and decided they no longer wanted to live with the void.  These people are the true definition of cat lovers, no question.

I asked Jean to come along for the adoption as a surprise.  And surprise she did!  The balloon was her stroke of brilliance. 

The fabulous book was an unexpected and generous gift to me from mom.  (Clearly there's no need for Jax to read it.)  Dad is squooshing his squooshy cheeks; mom is laying on the love. 

So long, handsome little tuxie man!  Jean and I will be over to pay you a visit!

That's right!  Frank and Carl have a couple of cutie pie sisters!

That's Lolly doing the lickin' and the chompin', and Naomi trying her best to rest.

Like their brothers, I'll be looking for a swell home for Lolly and Naomi to share.  Spread the word!  We'll be here til the end of the month!

He Makes My Heart Smile, This One

Trevor will be leaving soon. :(  My consolation is knowing the good home that awaits him.
