Hugs and Kisses

I'm here!  I'm still here!!

I've had some very sweet inquiries as to whether I'd fallen of the face of the Earth.  I had no intention of coming to a screeching halt with blogging - it seems to have just happened.

I have been taking in very tiny kittens to foster knowing in my heart that they may not ever be able to meet you.  I really don't want to subject anyone to sad stories, so until I have some certainty that things are good with the babies I guess I decided (without realizing it) to focus all my energies on them.

Sadly, I have lost a couple of the tinies.

There are currently 8 kittens in my care. Three of the Dancers moved into their happy new homes, but Elizabeth is still here worming her way deeper and deeper into my heart.  SOMEBODY WONDERFUL PLEASE COME ADOPT HER!!

The remaining 7 are all works in progress.  They stabilize, they get diarrhea, they lose weight, they get better, they start the whole process over.

But we're hanging in there!  Rosie's doing her part - as always.  Here she is giving Guido some hugs and kisses.  He loves her right back.

Thanks so much for your good thoughts and positive energy.  It's truly a comfort to know you're out there wishing us well.

Martha, Martha, Martha!!

Gorgeous, gregarious Martha is the final member of the Dancer troupe.  Like all the others, she's exceptionally social and loves human interaction.  Particularly if that human is wearing something involving a drawstring.  That's the best.

The Tiny Dancers came to me when they were very small.  I held off introductions until I was confident they were hale and hardy, and also to focus attention on the Singers until they'd graduated.

I'll be posting photos and videos of them at varying stages, so don't be surprised if they go from big-ish to eensy and back again.

I expect they'll be ready to move on in about two weeks.  They've been an absolute joy so in the meantime, I'm going to soak in all the love I can.  And there's lots.
