I love his perfect little rows of perfect little dots on his perfect little tummy. I want to kiss every one of those dots :-) And I'm glad you had to unhook his itty-bitty claw because that gave a perspective on how little he really is!!
To match perfect little kittens with equally perfect adopters.
Kittens Currently in Residence and Available
I am currently kittenless, and waiting patiently for a new batch of babies. Or maybe a singleton or two! I do love the singletons. Stay tuned!
All the previous little campers have been adopted into new, loving homes. But that doesn't mean you can't admire them. Please scroll to your heart's content! There are lots and lots of graduates and they're all adorable.
The kittens featured here are fostered for The Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County in Washington State. They are dearly loved and pampered until ready for adoption, usually at 8-10 weeks of age.
The big kitties passing through occasionally are my permanent residents. They are introduced to the babies once the 2-week quarantine has passed.
I try very hard to find each kitten the best family based on it's unique personality and the home environment. If I can send them off in pairs, all the better! Click here to learn why.
Happy kittens and happy adopters are equally important.
How It Works
Visits with the kittens can be scheduled once they're settled in, at least six weeks old, and determined to be healthy. If all parties agree that there's a good match, the wee ones can go home within a day or two of being neutered.
Surgery is scheduled when they reach 2 months and 2 pounds. They will also be microchipped and receive their initial vaccines before heading to their new home.
Adoptions are completed at the Humane Society in Tacoma. Arrangements will be made between the adopter and foster mom to meet and complete the paperwork.
All HS policies and procedures apply.
Interested in Adopting?
If you're in the Tacoma/Seattle vicinity, send me an email with a little information about your household - it's residents, human and otherwise, and anything else you think might be pertinent.
The Truth About Declawing
Most of us are aware of the inhumanity involved in declawing kitties. Learn the facts here and share them at every opportunity.
Lots of people simply don't know. It's our duty to educate them.
Thank you!
