Snow Legs??

Someone asked whether these kitties have white feet, and hence were 'snowshoes'. I dunno about the breed, but as you can see with Maudie here, they have very elegant white legs.

And guess which one is a talker..

  5. Snowshoes are half-Siamese, half non-color point. They do have white feet, but it takes more than white feet to be a snowshoe. These kids have the snowshoe look, imo. Such cuties!

  7. OOh, I am behind on this blog! I just paged down and found the whole family portrait. It looks like you've got 3 snow shoes, 2 colorpoints, and one non-colorpoint - pointing to one color point and one non-color point with the color point gene as parents! or maybe 2 non-color points each with color point genes? or perhaps multiple fathers... Hmm.. Kitty cat genetics are so fun. I had a litter with a tabby mom, tabby daughter, and color point son. I never met Dad.

  10. Definitely snowshoe kitties. Maudie you are a beauty!! I love talkative kitties. Reminds me of my Mom's cat Fiesta who was a seal point Siamese.
