Okay. I know you know. The question is rhetorical. But personally, I've never seen toes like this before. I find them quite impressive.

Whose Toes Are Those?
Okay. I know you know. The question is rhetorical. But personally, I've never seen toes like this before. I find them quite impressive.

Sue, you're back!!! Yay! So glad. Hope you enjoyed youer time off. And of course we know whose toes those are; his spotted belly will *always* give him away. :)
ReplyDeleteThose toes look like the toes of a future LARGE cat! What a cutie-patootie spotted belly and stripey legs! Those furs are really growing in.
ReplyDeleteThey are such Bengal toes!
ReplyDeleteThose are some BIG toes Alvin has!
ReplyDeleteWho knew that the pathetic and frail Alvin would become such a rock star!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoy got off to a rough start, but what a handsome young mancat he's growing into. Not that any of us who've seen you and the shelter staff do that sickly-kitten-healing voodoo you do so well should be surprised.
ReplyDeleteIf he grows into those feet and keeps his looks, he is so much going to look like some wild cat. I adore his spotted forelegs!
ReplyDeleteThose would be MY kittie's toes. YEP! Too bad y'all, I have laid claim to the kitty with the 'finger toes'. YAAAAAAYYYY!!!
ReplyDeleteSqueeee! I love love love Alvin's markings (and toes and belly and....). He's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOof. The toes don't lie. That's going to be a BIG kitteh. I've got one with toes that long. At 2 1/2 years old, he still grows exponentially every day.
ReplyDeletesuch pretty toes, and such pretty spots! what a beauty he is!
ReplyDeletesister jean, ooh, really? congratulations to you both!
Yeah! Sister Jean has some good kitty toe sense ... I believe she adopted one of my Cool Hands,Luke's multi-toed siblings. Gook luck all around.
ReplyDeleteOooh myyyy gooodnessss.....((sigh))
ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty awesome paws, spots and striking stipeys!
From his frail beginning to this glorious glimpse of felinity...
May we get close-ups on ALL parts of Alvin please? Those are some cute toes but I bet that face is even cuter than I remember!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty awesome (and cute!) toes you have there Alvin..and don't worry no matter how old you are or how big you get kitty toes are the cutest things!!
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of Alvin's markings, it sure would seem that he has some Bengal in him. The belly spots, the crisp black markings and that cute brown nose..yep..yep..yep! Alvin may turn out to be a big boy!
So glad that he is gaining ground from his sickly beginnings..but how could he not with Sue and the foster kitty moms to nurse him back to health!
Congratulations Sister Jean! With those "finger" toes I wouldn't be surprised if he starts dialing the phone or something :) Give those kitty toes a kiss for me!
I loves me some kitten toes and Alvin's are exceptional!
ReplyDeleteI love these IBKC toes too.

Sister Jean, I hope you'll be sharing lots of Alvin updates! I can hardly wait to see if he grows into his feet!
OMG! I am so happy dear, precious Alvin is now a member of the family! Congrats, Sister Jean! There was obviously a lot of love right there from the "Yay Alvin!" videos. So sweet! Alvin is a very special boy, no doubt about it. Definitely seeing the Bengal resemblance!
ReplyDeleteI third? Fourth? the Bengal I.D. His coloring, his markings, his bone structure. He's such a handsome boy.
ReplyDelete(My cousin has a Bengal kitten, and he also had tummy troubles for a while when she first got him.)
Sister Jean, you might want to consider investing in a cat wheel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDwZfhdkA3M And of course, a video camera. ;)
I'll second the cat wheel idea! Bengals can be insanely active and demanding of attention.
ReplyDeleteA wheel would drain off some of Alvin's energy so he can let his natural loving side shine!
I'd recommend a tall and challenging cat tree, also.
LOVING the toes! MORE, please!!! And can we compare Alvin with Miss Myrtle's tippy toes?
ReplyDeleteHe has gotten so big!! Love him!
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job helping this little guy get all of his fuzz back...nice work!
ReplyDeleteDiane M.
Who knew they had made a giant hamster wheel for cats?! Not a bad idea - next I want them to make it produce the energy to run my dishwasher. I'm all about alternative energy sources. Especially when I can hug 'em too.
ReplyDeleteI think he could throw a baseball with those toes.
ReplyDeleteMORE Bengal toes!
ReplyDelete(Click image to biggify and you'll see those knuckles in all their glory!)
Alvin, you could be a toe model! :)
ReplyDeleteThe faint white stripes on those toes are what get me :)
