'Tis the Season!

It is an honor and sincere pleasure to introduce to the world..

Claude Goodall

His given name is Jean-Claude Goodall, but he feels that to be a little highbrow and hoity-toity. He has asked that he be referred to simply as Claude. I gave him my promise, but I can't be sure I won't slip up now and then. He's a dreamy dreamboat.

Y'all come back now! Dude's got some siblings!

(Yes, Annie's still here, too. Still purring.)

  1. Oh, for heaven's sake! Are those some tiny chin whiskers? He is teeny tiny adorable!

  2. Oh man, I'm partial to little black kitties. I like how Jean-Claude has single white hairs as his eyebrows and a soul patch and on his legs. Wonder if the white hairs are spread out all over his body.

  3. Hi fuzzball!

He reminds me of my cat Buzz- long black fur (more soft and puffy than silky) flecked with white (and he has a white 'button' on his stomach... a tiny bit of his tuxie mom coming through) and those dilated eyes!

  8. Another litter????!?!? I cannot wait to meet the rest of the Goodall clan. Sweet, humble Claude needn't worry about me slipping and calling him by his given name. I was too excitedly screaming "Baby Norman!" (my old man puffy black cat who I met when he was 11 years old... now I know what his baby pictures looked like!)

  11. *sigh* The little black babes get me every time.. especially when they remind me of when my own resident black bear was so wee. *swoon*

  12. Oh. Dear. G*d. The eyes. The big soulful eyes out of a black ball of fuzz. That is weapons-grade cuteness right there.

  16. Welcome to Sue's Kitten Heaven™, little bear! It's a wonderful place filled with pitter pats of baby cat feet, licks & purrs from wonderful adult cats and, best of all, snuggles & love from Sue herself!

You've got it made, little guy!

  17. Oh, bittersweet cuteness... I had a black medium-haired Claude who was the best cat ever! I had to put him down at 9 years old due to cancer (8 years ago), and I still miss him terribly.

Lucky you, young Claude, to be in such a great foster home. Too bad that you are not in Michigan because you would already have a home!

  19. Annie's going to have other cats to boss around. She'll be so grumpy / happy about that. Not sure he's a longhair, but (no offense to my shorthaired cats) they hold their kitten level cute for life... Especially the black ones.

  25. Hello, sweet little Claude! I want to rub your fuzzy little chin.

Sue: thanks so much for your blog. I'm having an incredibly hard week (multiple emergencies while caring for a dying parent), and looking at adorable kittens is a much better coping mechanism than breaking out the tequila. (I imagine they frown on that here at hospice...)
