I just realized that I have 100+ new followers since the Catster article. Thank you, Catster! Oh my!

I want you all to know that I'm truly thrilled that you've found me and hope you stick around while my computer is diagnosed and repaired. For the time being I have a loaner from a ridiculously generous and thoughtful friend, but it doesn't allow access to my photos, which admittedly makes for a rather dull blog post.

I can however post videos from my phone onto YouTube so I'll occasionally break up the monotony with samples of sweetness such as this:

There may be some way to transfer photos from my phone as well, but those of you who've been around a while know that my computer skills are pretty darn limited so I'll just stick with what I know for now.

Thank you so much for your patience. And welcome new kitty-loving followers!

Unplanned Hiatus

Well, the computer is on the fritz. I have a loaner for a while, but no access to my photos. I've had lots of goings-on lately and I think the Universe is trying to tell me to take a break - and forcing me to listen. It could be at least another week before I'm up and running again, so I'll share a bit of news for the iterim.

Kewpie had the most fabulous meet-and-greet last weekend! She's spoken for by a great family with a charming little girl, another kitty, a Dachshund, a Corgi and fish! Kewpie's new girl was so smitten with her. She loves her "almond eyes". I do, too.

Bradley and Morgan have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow with a potential adopter. The husband of this couple is a friend of a friend, and although we have yet to meet, I already like them and can't imagine they won't fall head over teakettle for the boys. I mean seriously.

Kewpie is a little bit bigger than the boys, but my hope is that they'll all make weight for surgery next week and by the weekend it'll be just me and my own.

I may need a little down time, kitten wise. It seems I fractured my foot and the doc wants me off it and off work for a while. Chasing kittens may not be in the cards for a bit, but I'd love to re-visit some of my favorites from the past and maybe some you've never seen during this time.

So if you can bear with me while I let my foot heal I'd be so grateful to know you'll be waiting when we get back. I'll let you know for sure what happens with the current kids, and if the stars align I'll have photos by then as well.

Thank you all so much for seeing us through thick and thin. And now I must obey the Universe and go put my foot up. Fingers crossed that it won't be long before I'm back in fostering form.

In the meantime, did you see this??

Morgan Does Some Book Learnin' With His Friend

He likes Laurie's flower book and he likes Erica.  Me too.

A few of you have commented that the boys are still so little.  They're really not.  I haven't been posting chronologically.  These pix of Morgan are from a while back.  Sometimes my brain is not in order, hence neither is my posting.

Morgan the Instigator

This makes me chortle because it's usually the other two stirring up trouble.  This is them getting their comeuppance.

Reminder: That's Rosie's asthma you may have heard. I'm so accustomed to it that I forget it's not 'normal'.

Do As I Say, Not As I Do

I always advise people to not use their hand as a toy for kittens. It can only lead to regret when the kitten gets bigger and stronger.

But I did it. And now it's immortalized. And Kewpie is so darn cute!

Seriously, not as I do.

Morgan is MAH-velous!

Side note: The boys are nowhere near this tiny any more. I just couldn't let these photos go unshared.
